To celebrate Christmas and the New Year, Queen Elizabeth II delivered her annual message at Buckingham Palace. Apart from wishing a Happy Christmas to the people, Her Majesty tackled a number of burning issues taking place in the world.

Chevening Programme 2009

The deadline for receiving Chevening applications for 2009 is now over now. Interviews are in progress at the British Council to select suitable candidates to obtain a one year scholarship in the UK. The embassy will inform the public about next year's application dates in appropriate time.
