	Click photo to view            The Maritim Yadis is a modern seaside resort with golf course, situated directly on a private sandy beach and surrounded by gardens, two kilometres from the town of Midoun. The 332 air-conditioned guestrooms have furnished balconies and are built around six flower filled patios. Rooms are decorated in Italian style in tones of red and brown and all include cable TV, direct-dial phones, complimentary Internet connection, safes, minibars and hairdryers.
The four onsite restaurants offer a range of dining options from the main buffet restaurant which serves a range of Tunisian specialities to the terrace restaurant situated directly on the beach and offering light dishes, grilled fish and salads; there is also an a la carte restaurant. Five bars, including a piano bar with live entertainment, will keep guests refreshed throughout the day and until midnight every night. Guests can laze by the outdoor pool and indoors there is a large heated pool with a fountain set beneath a domed glass roof. For the energetic, there is a gym which also offers aerobics classes. The thalassotherapy centre boasts massage, health and beauty treatments as well as a sauna and hammam baths; the hotel also has hair salon. Guests can browse for souvenirs in the shopping mall, or relax in the lounge and library. Internet facilities are complimentary. The hotel provides a programme of evening entertainment of typical Tunisian folk dancing and music and there is a daily children's entertainment programme and kid's club. The hotel has its own golf course and guests can enjoy access to five floodlit tennis courts, a football pitch, basketball court, badminton and volleyball. The private beach offers water sports including jet skiing and parasailing; there is also a diving school. Horse riding and cycling are also both offered on site. Practical amenities include free onsite parking, currency exchange, 24-hour room service and dry cleaning services. Djerba Airport is 25 kilometres away with an approximate driving time of 30 minutes.
